Lutz Drum, IBC & Container Emptying Pumps

Lutz drum and IBC/container pumps are constructed to assure safety and economy when transferring neutral, aggressive and flammable liquids from different-sized containers. They are used for pumping aqueous and light viscous liquids in mobile or stationary use.

The modular construction allows you to select the correct pump materials for the liquid you want to pump, then by reference to the motor and performance data (shown below - right) you can select the correct drive unit.

Pump tubes are available in a selection of lengths to accomodate the drum/container/IBC that you want to use.  1000 and 1200mm are the usual lengths for 200 litre (45 gallon) drums and standard IBCs respectively and are available from stock or very short delivery.  Other lengths available on request.

Tubesets are available in Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Polypropylene, and PVDF (Hastelloy C by special request), so most liquids can be accommodated with ease.  The tubes will normally be of sealless design, although for crystallising or hardening liquids mechanically sealed pumps are available on request.

Motors can be supplied 110 or 240 volt, for use in safe area or in hazardous area as Atex approved version.  Robust air motors are also available for use in any environment.  AtEx motors must be used with AtEx approved stainless steel or Hastelloy C pump tubes.  Please read the instruction manuals supplied with the pumps and downloadable here before using these products.
